Jade Beacon may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information such as email address used to access the workspace.
• Authentication and security information such as session cookies and rate-limit data.
• Technical information such as IP address and basic request metadata used for security and service operations.
• Redirect management data such as QR code names, destination URLs, code status, scan counts, and last scanned timestamps.

How we use information

Jade Beacon uses this information to operate the service, including to:

• authenticate authorized users and maintain secure sessions;
• prevent abuse, fraud, and repeated unauthorized sign-in attempts;
• store and resolve managed redirect destinations;
• measure basic redirect activity such as scan counts and last scan time;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the service.

Sharing of information

Jade Beacon does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers and infrastructure vendors that help operate authentication, hosting, or data storage for the service. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce service rules, or protect the security of the service.

Cookies and tracking

Jade Beacon uses only cookies that are necessary for secure sign-in, session management, and authentication protection. These cookies support account access and help prevent repeated or abusive sign-in attempts.

Jade Beacon does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not use the service to track visitors across third-party websites for advertising purposes.

At this time, Jade Beacon does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

Access, correction, and retention

Workspace data may be updated or removed by authorized users through the service. If a visitor follows a redirect link but does not have a workspace account, Jade Beacon generally does not offer a direct self-service account portal for reviewing technical request data.

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and maintain the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Children

Jade Beacon is not intended for children under 13, and the service is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and its effective date. New versions become effective when posted here.
